Friends Mean the World To Us!

While 90 percent of our nonprofit programming is funding by the Colgan, Powers and Winklevoss Families… our force multiple comes from friends who believe in our programs.

AIR SUPPORT GROUP - Years ago we were introduced to Ivan Navarro, President of Air Support Group. Today Ivan, is not only our longest running supporter of programming, he and his team are family! His company is the first that we know of in El Salvador to directly support the countries two national champion Para Surf and Para Climbing Athletes as full-time employees. Air Support Group utilizes both athlete/employees s as subject matter experts on issues related to employee training and awareness surrounding the handling and care of persons with disabilities and their mobility devices and needs. Additionally, they support the use of the athletes in our on going resiliency programming in support of President Bukele’s Security and First Responder Teams.

FREUND GROUP - While we have operated as volunteers in support of government and private organizations here in El Salvador since 2011, the construction of the world’s first purpose Para Training Center for para surf athletes and others here in Surf City, La Libertad presented new found challenges. Simply put… Eduardo Freund and Family put our worries to rest and have provided us with easy access to 90 percent of the materials necessary to build out our million dollar complex. From unbelievable customer service, products and special care via their professional builders department… we have saved not only thousands of dollars, but more importantly our staff hasn’t wasted time and energy trying to figure complex problems out - allowing us to continue our mission to develop great para athletes and support the countries service members over the past two years of construction. Thankfully we cut the ribbon during a grand opening ceremony in April of 2023.

FRANCISCO RIVAS, President Iron and Stone El Salvador - “Brother Frank” for two years running has been voted our Volunteer of the year! As the owner of a fantastic custom welding and stone business, Frank works directly with Freund Group to place our supply orders, help oversee our local labor force and has guided our entire purpose built Para Training Center from start to finish. Frank, his wife Roxana and kids have become family and bring nothing, but pure joy and happiness to everything we are trying to do for the country and world.
